Local Traffic Laws
In response to the rapid rise of electric scooters, the Hungarian Ministry of Transport implemented a massive, Highway Code (known as KRESZ). This legal framework establishes explicit rules, speed limits, and safety guidelines that all e-scooter riders must follow. A Step-by-Step Walkthrough for First-Time Riders

2.Locate the Scooter: 1-2 minutes.
Open the live app map to find a scooter near you. Walk up to the vehicle and scan the unique QR code on the handlebars to wake it up. Before stepping on, perform a rapid safety check: squeeze both brake levers to verify resistance and ensure the physical throttle lever snaps back smoothly.
3. Riding:
Place one foot firmly on the rubber deck, grip the handlebars with both hands, and push off the ground two or three times with your other foot to gain initial momentum.
